Steel selection, construction and target geometry are recorded in the build sheet. Process details depend on the selected material and model.

Heat-treatment descriptions are provided when available for the selected piece. Hardness results are not published unless supported by a real record.

Polishing refines the blade planes and reveals surface detail. The intended finish is agreed without treating gloss alone as evidence of quality.

Fittings, wrap, saya and assembly requirements are compared with the approved specification.

Available review of alignment, assembly, surface finish and saya retention is agreed with the customer before production.

Protective packing and any available documentation are selected for the piece and shipping route before dispatch.
Available process photographs, inspection details and packaging information vary by piece and must be confirmed before the build sheet is approved.
